Handwritten thank you note to Adjutant W. Bramwell and Mrs. Gertrude Purdue, directors of the Radcliff, KY USO Club near Fort Knox in 1942 upon their transfer. It is signed by 78 soldiers that attended the club's activities. The note is 5 pages, front only, on USO notepaper stationary with the USO logo in top left and the phrase "Idle Gossip Sinks Ships" along the bottom. It reads:

We, the undersigned soldiers of Fort Knox, wish to express our appreciation for everything you've done for us at the Radcliff U.S.O. Here's wishing you all the luck in the world.
